About
At Daniel Black TV (DBTV), we craft professional video content that helps brands and campaigns reach their audiences in ways that are clear, engaging, and unforgettable.

With more than 18 years in video production, I’ve built studios, taught media, and directed everything from national commercials for brands like Amazon, New Balance, Dunkin’, the New England Patriots, Brightcove, and Synopsys, to award-winning independent films including Joy and the Apocalypse and Stray.

At the core of my work is a love for storytelling. I believe that video—enhanced with motion graphics—has the unique ability to take complex ideas and transform them into powerful stories that capture attention and leave a lasting impact. At DBTV, my mission is simple: to help organizations tell stories that truly matter in our everyday lives—stories that inspire and stories that drive results.
My Approach
My Approach
Over my 18 years of professional experience, I’ve seen productions fail for two main reasons:

-
The production company pushes clients into a vision that doesn’t match what they wanted—often because of a lack of talent, skill, or experience.
-
The client feels they need a video, but isn’t clear on the message—or doesn’t actually need one.
I make it my priority to ensure neither of these situations ever happens. Every production begins with listening—understanding your vision, goals, and audience. Then, I bring in the right collaborators from my network of skilled specialists, ensuring that each project has the exact team needed to deliver exceptional results.
About Me
Human
Behind the camera, I’m also a husband, dad to two amazing kids, and now—thanks to being outnumbered at home—the reluctant owner of two cats. I may not be much of a cat person, but I’m definitely a pushover for my kids.

I am a foodie and often hold food challenges with my group of friends in the style of the show "Chopped" where people are assigned to make a dish with 4 ingredients and we have judges choose who created the best dish. One of these days I will win.

You will often find me on the road running with the Concord Running Group or riding my bike long distances across NH and VT.

I like pretty much everything except for the two cats living at my house, although one is growing on me.

I love calling New Hampshire home and believe it’s the perfect place to raise a family, build community, and do meaningful work.
